DARK Smart Builder Gel 01 30 ml

DARK Smart Builder Gel 01 is a medium-viscosity builder gel in a bottle (often called BIAB-style builder gel) for strengthening, extending and repairing natural nails. 30 ml bottle, without brush.

How DARK Smart Gel differs from other builder gels

It has a slightly thinner consistency than classic builder gels while curing hard, which makes it quick to apply as a builder gel in a bottle for strengthening overlays as well as extensions on forms.

How to apply

1. Prepare the nail: manicure, buff and degrease, then apply primer (Ultrabond) and dehydrator.
2. Apply a thin layer of clear SCOTCH BASE with rubbing motions and cure for 60 seconds.
3. Strengthen or extend the nail with DARK Smart Builder Gel 01. Cure for 60–90 seconds at 48 W, depending on pigment.
4. If necessary, remove the sticky layer and file the nail.
5. Apply a top coat and cure for 90 seconds.

Tips for working with Smart Gel

• Cures easily with upper forms; pinch the gel at 12–15 seconds.
• Intermediate curing is possible from 15 seconds.
• Don't apply deep under the cuticle: keep a smooth transition with minimal thickness.
• When strengthening, file the natural nail 1 mm from the inside to avoid lifting.
• With other brands' base coats, remove the sticky layer from the base first.
• The more transparent the shade, the harder the gel.
• If the gel has thickened in the cold, warm the amount you need on a palette; mix glitter shades before use.
• For best results use the original DARK lamp; cure at lower power and remove the hand if you feel heat.
